This afternoon at 4:45 on First and Slaughter Lane, Roger Clementine, John Jacob Jingleheimer-Smith and his wife, Melba, were in an accident due to Clementine being an unlicensed driver and a collision occurred.
Clementine was unlicensed, speeding, and on the wrong side of the road which caused the head on collision.
"The collision was awful, I knew it was coming when I saw that boy driving on the wrong side of the road," eye witness Brittany Garrett said.
Smith was put in the hospital for a head injury and he is in serious condition as of recent news.
"Right now Mr. Smith has a bad injury and is in a serious medical condition," hospital nurse Betty said.
At the time of the collision, Clementine was driving 60 miles per hour and Smith was driving 10 miles per hour. The Smith car is totaled and Clementine's suffered a fender-bender.
"One of the cars was completely wrecked, it was in horrible condition," eye witness Carrie Robinson said.
The police had cited Clementine for underage driving, speeding, and driving on he wrong side of the road.
